Baby Titus was supposed to be due on Dec 9, the very day my mom was born more than 60 years ago. That sure got my mom very excited.
But nobody can be absolutely sure when baby would actually arrive, and little sunshine decided he wanted to see the world ahead of plans.
While my mom did not to share her birthday with her first grandchild, she did get to celebrate that day with him. ♥
Seeing the joy in mom's eyes made me wish I had tried for a baby sooner and had not kept putting motherhood off because of my other pursuits. Being preggers and the addition of Titus to our lives have brought such immense joy to both the Awesome Husband and me too, and we had grown even closer.
Everyone says parenthood changes your life. Yeah, for the better!
